Quite
a few years ago, I entered into a role-playing chatroom
about vampires. Okay it wasn't anything like strict D&D,
but the people there tried to play the roles of evil undead,
lusty vampyre, and other underworldly creatures. I made
a lovely lil vampyre named Chameleon, and of course, following
the masses, had to create a webpage for her. At first she
started out as a feisty and loveable creature of the night.
As I developed her character and I dragged her from one
vampyre RP room to another, she became more of a blood thirsty,
killin' loving, half demented, yet oh-so-lovely assassin.
(You can read her bio in the Tales section.) In other words,
more fun to play. Her website grew to contain a gallery
of artworks that I loved, avatars for people in the chatrooms
I frequented, and links of all kinds.
But
over the years, as with most people, my tastes changed.
I got into online gaming (Everquest, Dark Ages), and once
again had to join the rage and make webpages for the characters
I played there. Then with every guild I joined and eventually
the two that I ran, I had to make a webpages for those as
well.
By
now I had a wide assortment of sites, from my beloved Chameleon,
to gaming sites, to personal sites, and last but not least
to one about my dog. It has finally come to a head and I
wanted to put it all under one site.
Hence
Chameleons Lair was reborn. I had to use her in some way,
as even after a couple years of not playing her, I miss
her in an odd sort of way. She was a great way to vent frustrations!
A safe, yet creative way. I even had a picture of her done
up by Barry & Collin from Realm Walkers. They
did a fantastic rendition of Chameleon, though they missed her trademark golden cateyes,
the look of "I don't care what or who you are, I'll eat
you anyways" is perfect!
So
to sum it all up, this page is an amalgamation of a variety
of pages. You'll find artwork, signature and avatar pics
that I've created for people, a plethora of links, poetry,
and much more. Some areas of this site will be dark and
beautiful, like the vampyres that I played with, others
will be more fun like the games I now play. Hopefully you
will see something you like and enjoy!
