Peggy Kane and Mischka O'Connor run a company called Cedar Creek Clay. Peggy has a fondness for the ravens that are around her southwest home and believes that "ravens are way smarter than we are. In fact, I believe most animals have it all over us humans and we're just too egotistical to figure that out." One of her favourite raven stories is one about her sister.

" My sister who lived in N.J. at the time, found a dead raven in the road near her home. She is also a raven person and moved the raven off to the side of the road so it wouldn't get smoshed. She noticed a lot of noise in the trees and saw a lot of ravens gathered and a lot of raven activity. She went into her house and a few hours later, she came out of the door, and the dead raven was laying right by her back door. The ravens in the trees were still there. She buried the raven very ceremoniously after that, and the ravens disbursed. She swears that she doesn't know how the dead raven got from the side of the road to her back door, but is convinced that she was called upon to give it a decent burial."
