"I sit for long periods of time watching crows. You might say that I am besotted with them and their mangy ways. From Normandy to New Mexico to Nepal, I have been fascinated to see them going about their "black business". Loyal to each other, duty bound, roughly elegant, rotten-to-the-core, often magnificent, their behavior is never dull. To me they are essential to the earth's tapestry, and although they do not comprise my sole imagery, their humor and mystery capture my imagination. Their ubiquity, and their rock-and-roll attitude keep me amused and intrigued."
